Benefits for Partners

  • /admin > /edit

Site editors simply access the OSE by appending /edit to their web address - giving them access to the OSE sidebar editor while still navigating their website front-end. Adminphobia solved!

  • Restricted access

You provide your clients (site owners) and their staff with access to only the specific website pages and modules they need to edit.

  • No more broken pages!

The website cannot be “broken” by OSE Pro actions. The editor can save/delete drafts and publish changes. But the most important thing - editors have zero access to code!

  • Customize site content

With OSE Pro you can add/edit/remove text blocks, blog posts, events, banners, gallery images, manage products, FAQ’s, Custom Modules and more. You decide and configure what can and cannot be edited.

  • Site owners feel more empowered

You can provide your clients a safer, easier editing experience that makes them feel better in control and happier to make changes themselves.

  • Theme settings

Using OSE Pro you can quickly and easily configure new sites from templates by updating the color scheme, fonts and other Site Globals, as well as the site content.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I integrate ОSE Pro with my site anytime?

If you are creating a website from scratch, it is better to think in advance whether you want to use OSE Pro on it. At the initial stage of development, it is easier and cost-effective.

Can I restrict access to the pages my client would be able to edit?

You provide your clients (site owners) and their staff with access to only the specific website pages and modules they need to edit.

Can I use OSE Pro on all site plans?

Yes. OSE Pro is enabled as an extension so is available to any of your sites that you wish to install it on (from WebinOne Portal) and can be used on any site plan.

Does OSE Pro cost extra?

During the BETA period, OSE Pro is free to use and try out for your sites and clients.

After the BETA period ends, the extension will become a paid solution (price yet to be confirmed).

Does using OSE Pro affect the speed and performance of your site?

Unlike other platforms, On-Site Editor Pro is built-in on a backend level and does not affect performance and load speed in any way.

I already have OSE (formerly nICE) on my site, why do I need OSE Pro?

OSE Pro is ideal for greater editing control of dynamic site content without the overwhelm of the admin interface. It also allows much more control over what content can be edited, how it can be edited, and who can edit it.

The standard OSE has simplified editing capabilities and is ideal for very basic text block editing of page content and other static site content.

What is meant by BETA?

BETA refers to an early version of a product feature. Therefore, OSE Pro is currently in final development phase where functionality may be slightly updated or added during the BETA testing and review period.

By using the BETA version, and providing your feedback, you are helping to enhance the feature and therefore benefit from its further development later on

in-context editor vs On-site editor

  • In-Context Editor

In-Context Editor makes changes ONLY to small sections of existing text content. It must be static content (you may not know it's not static until you can't edit it). In-Context Editor won't work if your HTML is not valid or you have problem areas on your site.

  • On-Site Editor

With On-Site Editor you have the ability to change existing text content and add content. You can change text, images, and banners and even add whole blocks and pages. With additional implementation also update the color scheme and fonts.

Here is a comparison table showing what content you can change with In-Context Editor and On-Site Editor:
