Can WebinOne integrate with third party services?

Yes, we allow API integrations. Currently API integrations are only available for WebinOne Services team and will become available for WebinOne users soon. If you require custom developed API integration please contact TeamOne.

Does Treepl CMS have Web Apps, like in Business Catalyst?

Yes, we call them Custom Modules. In fact, Treepl CMS is built around Custom Modules. They provide much more flexibility than BC's Web Apps and are easier to setup. More info here: Custom Modules aka WebApps

Does WebinOne support Liquid?

Yes. We've implemented the fastest liquid library available on .Net. You can find more info on using Liquid in WebinOne in our documentation: Liquid Objects & Usage

How custom domain names are handled?

You add a primary domain name as part of the site activation process. You can also assign additional domain names to your website after activation is complete.

How email accounts are migrated/handled?

If you have existing email hosted via OpenSRS you can seemlessly transfer them under WebinOne account (no charge).

How is the Email Marketing handled?

We're using MailChimp with its extensive API capabilities. MailChimp is probably the most popular email marketing service with a powerful API that allowed us to repeat the BC's email marketing functionalities. Is WebinOne Open Source?

No it is not. WebinOne is a SaaS content management system hosted with Amazon Web Services on 6 data centers: USA (Oregon), USA (Virginia), UK (London), Australia (Sydney), EU (Germany) and Canada.

What about SSL?

SSL certificate is included into hosting on every plan. Every live site gets a free certificate (as part of the activation process) for each domain name assigned to the site. All SSL certificates on every WebinOne site are renewed every 3 months by WebinOne's administration team.

What's the difference between Basic Custom Modules and Advanced Custom Modules?

Advanced custom modules allow 3 extra features:
a) Creating foreign items from other existing Custom Modules (couldn't do with WebApps)
b) Ability to create multiple detail layouts for a single custom module (couldn't do with WebApps)
c) Ability to create user submitted items (with notifications).

What's the meaning behind "Treepl" name?
1) Reference to Tree has two meanings:
a) Constant growth of the platform, we are releasing updates every 3 weeks: treepl.co/cms-features
b) We also call Treepl "a CMS for ever-growing websites" which means that with it you can grow your site together with your business, from small to large, without major redevelopments unlike with other platforms.
2) Reference to Triple means that our platform is aimed for all three categories of web professionals: designers, coders and agencies
3) People emphasises our focus on our community (professionals that use Treepl to deliver websites) and our team (those who actually develop Treepl CMS every day)

Where WebinOne sites are hosted?

All of WebinOne's websites are physically hosted on servers of Amazon Web Services - a leading secure cloud services platform. You have a choice of 6 data centers for every website you create in WebinOne: USA (Oregon), USA (Virginia), UK (London), Australia (Sydney), EU (Frankfurt) and Canada.

Can I host sites on my own server?

No, WebinOne is a closed system. All sites are supported and maintained by WebinOne team on AWS servers.

Do you have Australian (AUS) and European (EUR) prices?

WebinOne is owned and managed by a USA-based company and is charged by AWS in USD. Therefore all prices are fixed in US dollars no matter of the Data Center you use.

What's Treepl's pricing?

We prefer to not show our pricing publicly since our business model is designed for resellers - Associates, Partners and Agencies.
Treepl resellers are paid users that actively participate in the development and growth of the platform by interacting with the Treepl CMS team and other resellers.
Besides developing and "hosting" sites on Treepl CMS, Treepl resellers provide an extensive set of services for their end clients that are not included into CMS (SEO setup, SSL certificates, Google Analytics setup, email campaigns setup and management, maintenance, consulting and much more).

What support will I get?

We offer 24/7 admin support for all six data centers. Resellers support is available 12/5 through through WebinOne Portal (integrated ticketing system).
As a Partner or Agency level user you also get help from WebinOne Team directly in Slack.
WebinOne Forum has proven to be one of the best places to get help with WebinOne. It's free and you mostly get answers from fellow WebinOne users.

Is the ‘BC to Treepl’ App and migrations free?

The app is free to install and you can complete the migration of your BC site to Treepl CMS completely free of charge where you can review, test and even continue to develop the new site on Treepl. Only once you are happy with the migration and decide to go-live with the migrated site will you pay for migration. There are two ways to price the migration: fixed cost (pricing levels of $199, $399, $599, $999) and custom pricing based on the number of items you migrate from BC to Treepl (it works for cases when you perform a rebuild of the site as part of your migration). Both the estimation and the actual migration are performed inside the "BC to Treepl" app.

What's the pricing per migration and how do I get charged?

We don't charge you anything to actually migrate the site. You pay for migration only if you're happy with results. After you migrate your BC site to Treepl, you can view the cost and pay for site's migration through "Treepl Portal". Just click "Pay for migration" button in the trial site list.

What are the steps to migrate a BC site to Treepl?


It requires 3 easy steps and takes less than 5 minutes:
1. Create a new trial site in Treepl Portal (the same way you did in BC)
2. Install the latest version of "BC to Treepl" app onto your BC site
3. Enter your Treepl Portal credentials with a URL of your newly created trial site and hit "Start Migration" or "Calculate Cost" if you're looking for quote only.

Do I need to be a paid user (Associate, Partner or Agency) in order to migrate to Treepl CMS?
Nope. Free users have full admin and FTP access to every trial or live site created in their Treepl Portal.
Also, there are no restrictions on using the "BC to Treepl" app.
Do my clients see the cost of migration to Treepl?

No. The app calculates cost and performs migration only after you enter Treepl account credentials and Treepl's trial site URL.

How many sites can I migrate to Treepl?

We allow up to 5 unpaid migrated sites in Treepl Portal.

Does "BC to Treepl" app perform 100% of transfer/conversion of the site?

Based on our analysis of BC sites that were migrated and activated on Treepl (already live), the app performs 80%-95% of manual work (depending on the complexity of implementation).

Can I have your team deliver migration of my sites to Treepl?

Yes. You can always request migration of your Business Catalyst websites through Treepl Services: BC to Treepl CMS (getting quote from Treepl Services is free).

How do I migrate my email accounts?

Adobe Business Catalyst is using OpenSRS as a vendor to host email accounts. Treepl CMS is using the same vendor and our account is intentionally located on the same cluster with BC's. This allows us to perform seamless migrations of the accounts. It takes 10-15 minutes of your time to start the email account migration process from BC's account onto Treepl's account. Is there any documentation available to help me with migration from BC to Treepl?

Yes!

Can I migrate Adobe Muse sites to Treepl?
Websites that are created with Adobe Muse cannot be migrated as is, since Muse sites are composed of software generated layouts with very few implementation... but you can always try :) If you wish to keep the look of the Muse site you can request redevelopment of your Muse site from scratch from  Treepl Services.
Treepl Services team will simply use the Adobe Muse layouts as initial designs and do the whole HTML/CSS and full stack implementation into Treepl CMS from scratch.

Can I create sites if I am not a Reseller?

Yes, with a new reseller program anyone is able to register and start creating sites in WebinOne.

Do you offer free website for WebinOne Resellers?

Yes. As a WebinOne Reseller, you’re entitled to one free website on our highest plan, dedicated to your agency’s own business website. This site is meant to support your agency's presence and showcase your services - please note it is not intended for use as an Ecommerce shop. When your agency website is ready, simply submit a support request. Our team will gladly review it and activate the free plan for you.
