Treepl Services has built a migration tool that automates at least 50% of the migration process. Nevertheless, every migrated website undergoes manual testing in every browser and every platform before handing the results insuring successful transferring.
Depending on the workload and the site complexity it will take us 1 to 10 business days to perform the migration.

The following items are migrated without partner's involvement:
- Menus
- Static pages
- Content Templates
- Snippets (Content Holders)
- Files
- Forms (Web Forms)
- Blog posts
- Banners (Ad Rotators)
- Galleries
- Custom Modules (Web Apps)
- Liquid code remains with few modifications
- CRM data
- Email accounts physically remain where they are with BC
The following items are not migrated and need to be setup by every partner:
- Admin users must be setup from scratch
- SSL certificates (you will get help from Treepl Services)
- DNS settings (you will get help from Treepl Services)
- Unsubscribing and removing the site from Business Catalyst platform
How It Works
The whole migration process takes 3 easy steps:
1. Submit site
Business Catalyst to Treepl CMS migration services is performed through Treepl Services website. After submitting the website we will ask you Admin User access to the site.
2. Review and Setup
The migrated website will appear as a new trial site in your Treepl partner portal (you will be notified via email). During 30 days trial site period, with our help, you will be asked to perform minor setup actions mentioned above.
3. Going live
Activate site in Treepl partner portal.
Remove site from BC partner portal.
Hand the newly upgraded website to your client.
