Speed upgrades in Design Parser v0.6.0

The new v0.6.0 release focuses on stability, performance, and more predictable code generation. If you work with complex layouts or large Figma files, this update will feel noticeably smoother and more consistent in daily use.

Here’s what’s improved in the latest version.

Performance improvements – up to 50% faster generation

This release includes several optimizations that speed up both section processing and the full-page assembly.

1. Improved image deduplication

Identical images and icons are processed only once, reducing download and processing time and avoiding unnecessary duplication.

2. Optimized section generation flow

To avoid redundant work, the parser now:

  • Generates fully identical sections first.
  • Then handles structurally identical sections with different content.
  • Reuses pre-generated sections during page assembly.
  • Fills structurally identical sections with content at the final merge stage.

This reduces overall generation time and keeps the results more consistent.

What’s new in Design Parser v0.6.0

Alongside performance gains, we’ve refined several core systems to improve accuracy, resilience, and overall code quality.

Highlights:

  • Automatic LLM failover – the parser now switches to a backup model if the primary LLM becomes unavailable. Generation continues without interruptions, keeping your workflow stable even during high-load periods.
  • Better background generation – backgrounds are now produced through CSS styles rather than Tailwind utility classes. This results in cleaner output and more flexible styling during further development.
  • More accurate .container generation – we improved container handling and added automatic detection of the correct container width based on the design.
  • Tailwind build error handling – if the Tailwind build fails, the parser still generates the final archive. You’ll see a clear note that the build needs to be run manually, so you don’t lose your work.

v0.6.0 delivers faster generation, cleaner output, and a more resilient workflow. Give it a try with your next Figma design and see the improvements in action.
