Accepting Payments with Custom Module

I have a couple of sites with a multi-step process: 1) The user creates a custom module item, 2) the user is redirected to the payment form, 3) after successful payment, the custom module item is updated with a “Paid” status.

Sometimes the user drops off after step 1, and my client has to track down users for payment.

Access To ‘Item Properties’ For Pages On The Pro+ Plan

When on the Pro+ plan we gain access to the advanced Settings and Properties (including Custom Properties) for built-in modules like Blogs, Banners, Galleries, etc. It would be great to have access to ‘Item Properties’ and ‘Custom Properties’ for Pages as well - since they work on the same module structure. One main benefit of this is that it would...

Account Created In Portal

In the Partner Portal in both the Live Site and Trial site settings, can we get a “Account Created” text field, which generates the exact date that the site was created? To go one step further, possibly if we can get the date the website went live? So, Trial site settings would show: Date Trial Site was Created; and, Live...

Add “Country Code”, “City” And “Province/State” To Request Params

The ability to see “Country Code”, “City” and “Province/State” in the {{request}} parameters....

Added CRM Default User Fields

CRM / Forms - Add default user field “Business”. There are times when we need the contacts “Business” to be part of the CRM. Currently, I have been adding it as a custom group or I have been using the default “Site” field. But sometimes I need both Business and Site. CRM / Forms - Add default user field “Custom...

Add Field Type to `FormSubmissionData` Liquid Output

It would sometimes be handy to know the field type (string, dropdown, radio, boolean, etc.) of a field in the FormSubmissionData object so as to better format form results dynamically on the confirmation page and in workflow/autoresponder emails. For example, if a media/upload field is used, we could check for that field type with a Liquid condition and render an...

Add Password Reset Link as a Liquid Component for Emails & Pages

Provide a reusable Liquid component to insert secure password reset/set links into system emails, campaigns, and pages-enabling bulk invites and consistent UX beyond the current single system email.

Allow Front-End Updates to ‘Empty’ CRM Fields for Member Records

DESCRIPTION: Empty CRM data fields, including Advanced CRM Group fields assigned to the CRM, do not allow updating once the contact becomes a ‘Member’ (ie: is a Member Area subscriber/has a password). BACKGROUND: If a regular user (non-member) fills out web forms on the front end of a website (using the same email address), their details will be updated as...

Attach Form Uploads To Workflow Notifications

When a user uploads a ‘file’ via a form on the website, that the ‘file’ then becomes an attachment in the email sent to the workflow recipeints.

Automatically Setup FTP Credentials For Domain When Site Goes Live

It looks like the actual domain for sites that have gone live doesn’t work with the FTP credentials.

Create a process that automatically adds FTP credentials to actual site domain.

Availability Of Member Area Status In Liquid

Currently, I don’t think there is a way to tell if an item is assigned to a member area or not. It would be good to have the secured status of an item available in the liquid output so we can filter/sort by it (eg: use it to filter out secure items from a list if needed, or visually mark...

Backlog Search Function

The abillity to search the items in the backlog

Catalogs and Products to be available in the Member Area content management section

When creating a Member Area, under Step 2. “Secure Content”, Catalogs or Products are missing from the “Select Source Content” dropdown.

This makes it more time-consuming to add Catalogs and Products to a Member Area as you have to assign them individually via the Catalog/Product edit pages.

Categories Improvements

1. See all items associated with a category Use Case: Cleaning up a clients data, I want to see if category is being used anywhere across the site, would like to click on the category and see anything assigned that particular category. Currently, I am exporting each module separately and checking over the items, I did try sorting by the...

Changelog/Site Activity Log

Some way of knowing if other admins are logged in to a site. One of my main reasons for this is to see if another dev is logged in to a site so we don't overwrite each other's changes. Also, it's nice to be able to see who did what when you're trying to track down a problem generally. BC had...

Changes To "SEO" Section

Component Tag Parameter: Ignore Inactive/Disabled items

Right, so you want to output items that are inactive (due to release/expiry dates): So the parameter could look like: {% component source: "My Module", ignoreInactive: "true", type: "module" %} false being the default (current behaviour - doesn’t output inactive items) true outputs inactive items with active items ignoreInactive: "true|false" From there you can use liquid to determine if an...

Copy Trial Site Domain settings when adding new Domain

When developing a trial site (before it goes live), it’s usually necessary to configure the system domain (trial site domain) for the correct ‘Start Page’, ‘Currency and Format’ and ‘Country’ - especially for eCommerce sites. When it’s time to go live with the site and you add your custom domain, its domain settings are initially set to system defaults so...

Custom Admin Menu Layouts By Admin User Role

The possibility to import the menu configuration, so you don't have to do this over and over again. Additional admin menu configurator layouts that could be assigned to admin user roles. So if I had a Super user admin user role, they could see all of the items in the admin menu and if I had an editor user role,...

Custom Fields on Pages

The ability to add custom fields on pages in the WebinOne admin. For example if a top image is being used on the page it would be possible to have a field for this, just like in a custom module. One would also be able to do for example a dropdown with choices on how the particular site should look,...

Custom Module List Filter Enhancement and Bulk Delete

CUSTOM MODULE LIST/TREE FILTER Filter - Expired State: Inactive - Currently, this shows not only items that have expired but also items that have a future release date. It’s not an Expired State; it is an Inactive State. I suggest a restructuring of this filter option as: State: All / Active / Expired / Unreleased I used Unreleased as the...

Custom Module Settings Rework for Parent / Child Settings Clarity

The current Custom Module settings are shown below, followed by the Advanced Settings panel. The items outlined in red are all related to creating a Parent/Child relationship with the Custom Module. However, in their current layout, this is not clear. I suggest that the layout be changed to reflect this. The New layout should be something like this. Add a...

Custom Module User Facing Member Area Listing

The ability to see All items in a custom module under a Member Area no matter the enable status or date just like in the admin. One current limitation to user-facing custom modules is that they can’t see items that are not enabled, not released, or have ended. Because of this in some cases, I have to create separate start...

Custom Report Improvements

I have a client who uses the Custom Reports extensively to track and manage form submissions (Contacts and Cases) as well as purchases (Contacts and Orders). They’ve pointed out two things that would be a big improvement for them: Add a search bar to the Custom Reports area so you can search reports without paging through them all. This client...

Custom Reports to use FormSubmissionData for system fields

If you look at individual Case, Order or Event Rego items in the admin they will rightfully show the details of the fields captured in that submission (system and custom fields) and not the live/current CRM contact data associated with the submission. This is correct as you want to know the data that was submitted. However, in Custom Reports, the...

Default Country changing the CRM Country default

If the website is located in ‘Australia’ and you add new contacts in the CRM, the default country is changed to ‘Australia’ instead of the USA. This would be a better user experience for clients.

Drag-and-Drop Sort Order for List Fields

Allow users to reorder dropdown and list field options (Dropdown, Radio, Checkbox, Listbox) using drag-and-drop within the admin interface. This improves flexibility when managing option order—especially after modules are live—and ensures better control over display sequence in forms and reports.

Ecommerce API Access For Inventory Control

The ability to have an API connecting to the ecommerce which updates Inventory every evening.
We basically need access to the ecommerce like BC currently has.

End-User Password Reset for Hosted Email

Currently, email account management is only accessible via the Portal, so the client/site owner cannot easily manage their user’s email accounts. One major issue with this is that the email account passwords need to be set by the Reseller and then passed on (in plain text) to the client (and then likely passed, in plain text, to the user/staff member)....

Events Module For Event Attendance

It would be excellent to have a feature on Events Module that enabled admin user to mark event attendees or subscribers as “attended”, “did not attend” under the subscriber/list of attendees for each event.

Expanding CRM Search & Listing Functionality

Improve the search/listing/filtering functionality across the entire CRM. Currently the CRM is very limited, it is just a data bucket and has no “Relationship Management” functionality in it at all. The CRM needs to be able to do the basic things such as: Click on someones name in a “Form Submission” and have it take me to their personal details....

Extra fields in events module

The ability to have two extra fields in the Event module:

· A generic text string field (with ability to add code if need be); and,
· An image field

This is only necessary for the lower plans that don't have the ability to have custom fields in the Events module.

File System API Additional Properties

The current File System API only lists the URL of items in the selected folder. I would like to see added properties to include the following.

· Update Date
· File Size

Form Classes / ID Option / Re-Direct

One trend I am noticing more and more is customers wanting to create their own web forms. The problem being in the past was that forms in BC were not very user friendly and to be honest, you really never wanted to have customers touch them (or maybe that was me - lol!) I really like the drag-and-drop functionality and...

Form Layout to use `this.Alias` in the Form Action by default

The default Form Layout generates the form action attribute to include the Form’s alias (which is critical for the Form to function correctly). Currently, this alias is output as static text and so if the form’s alias ever changes, the layout also needs to be updated. Also, I’ve seen many problems arise from forms being duplicated or having their layouts...

Front-end Pages Loaded Into Admin Area (AKA Faux Admin Apps)

It would be a good (and probably a simple) intermediate step towards “Admin Apps” if we could load external web pages and/or the site’s own front-end pages into a frame within the Admin interface. We could then customise the Admin menu to link to an external page but specify it to load into the admin frame. I’m not suggesting that...

"FullName" Field In Forms

Ability to use 'FullName' field in forms that will split it's value on the server into "firstName" and "lastName" by space.

Gallery Import From Folder

After creating your Gallery ‘group’ as normal, there is an additional import option in the ‘slides’ list view labelled “Import from Folder” and once clicked it gave the option to select or create a folder on the server (probably just bring up the File Manager). After selecting the folder the system basically constructs an import file in the background using...

Gift Voucher Export & Table Formatting

Please allow for Gift Voucher Export options (and perhaps import, especially when bringing over info from BC), and allow us to define table output fields.

HOST .scss Files

What is the issue: Currently if you access a .SCSS file it 404s. It seems it is not an allowed file type. Why: Anyone who develops sites using sass / scss can upload mapped files that link back to the .SCSS file in the dev tools to be able to troubleshoot. However as WebinOne does not host them correctly they...

HTML Widget Improvements

When inserting ‘HTML Widgets’ into the WYSIWYG editor they become just as susceptible to breakage as all the other markup in the layout. Widgets are currently frustrating to use due to the editing issues of the WYSIWYG and limits of the Widgets themselves, but they have so much potential to be a powerful and flexible solution to editor challenges. These...

Import/Export Categories

The ability to import/export categories making it easier to add, edit and delete categories

Being able to delete multiple items at once as well.

Improve JSON Output for Cases Component

Refine the JSON output of the “Cases” component so that the list view is structured more transparently and consistently-removing nested “Fields” arrays, ensuring predictable order of properties, and aligning with other module outputs for easier front-end display and manipulation.

Improvements To Assign Documents To A Member Area

Since all user-uploaded documents go into one system folder (separated by ID’s within that folder), it doesn’t make sense to just secure that one folder, as we may need that folder for other items to be available (i.e. not secured), so suggestion:Can we have it as an option in Custom Modules / Forms for any “Uploaded” item to have a...

Improve Safety of Moving Files and Folders in File Manager

Enhance the file-management workflow by adding stronger safeguards when moving files or folders in the File Manager. This includes a styled, clear warning pop-up with an acknowledgment checkbox and disabled confirmation button until checked, to alert non-technical users that moving items may break links/references across the site.

Include Autoresponder And Workflows In Member Area Account Update Form

Member Area Account Update Form functionality should include the AutoResponder and Workflows like Member Registration forms.

The Use Case is where a Member Area Member updates a particular field in the CRM and needs to receive additional information by email after the update and the person who manages that data needs to know the field has been updated.

Include Order Name in export of Orders

Under CRM Orders you can see a list of all orders placed. The ‘Order Name’ is the name of the web form used to submit the order which is very helpful. When an excel file of all the orders is exported, however, the Order Name should be but is not included. The Order Name also doesn’t appear in Stripe. Regardless...

Make reCAPTCHA Work in China

Users from China are not seeing the recaptcha on the page as it’s being served from Google servers which are blocked in China. Since they don’t see it they can’t complete validation and they can’t submit the form. This is a known issue https://github.com/google/recaptcha/issues/87 The solution seems to be to change the servers from google.com to recapcha.net https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq#can-i-use-recaptcha-globally ...

Member Area URL (Liquid access)

Wondering if we are able to get the Member Area Landing Page URL added to the {{request.currentmember.securezones}} output. Right now we only have this: “securezones”: [ { “id”: 1, “name”: “Secure Portal”, “landingpageid”: 1863, “createddatetime”: “2019-08-15T17:21:42.177”, “updateddatetime”: “2019-08-15T17:21:42.177”, “expirydatetime”: “9999-12-31T08:00:00”, “ExpiryOption”: null, “ExpiryAfter”: null }, Would be good if URL was added, as such: landingpageurl ...

Members Area Sign Up Settings and Function Improvements

Issue: Members Area Settings are in too many places: Members Area, Settings → Misc, and Form Settings. Email Verification is not sent if “Enable email verification flow” is not checked in Settings → Misc, even if “Send Confirmation Email Notification” is checked in Form Settings. If “Enable email verification flow” is checked in Settings → Misc, then “Send Confirmation Email...

Module component for "Bookings"

Add a new “Bookings” module component (e.g., {% component type: "bookings" … %}) to output all booking data-both paid and free-including linked form submission (“case”), event item details, and contact info (first/last name, email, CRM ID). This will fill the gap where bookings aren't accessible via existing components and improve event-registration visibility for partners and clients.

Module Filtering Enhancements

The new filtering and sorting UI for module list/table view looks great and works well. When using this in practice, 2 main enhancements would be great for even more convenience when managing items, not just for partners, but also the site admins. This request comes from lochmüller.MEDIA, so thanks Tim for the great suggestions! 1) Save Search Query After configuring...

Multiple Files Upload

The ability to upload multiple files into one input field, so it is possible for the user to do bulk upload to forms, Custom Modules input form etc.

Multiple Owners and Authors Assigned To Item

Ability to assign multiple Owners (“Added by” field) (similar to how we can with Tags and Categories) to an item as there could be multiple contributors. This would need to flow through to the customer-submitted content process. Particularly where you have “Anyone can edit items” enabled so multiple editors/contributors are recorded against the item. Or perhaps there are two fields;...

The option should be allow for dollar/unit of currency and percentage based.

Portal Defaults For Creating New Sites

Not a big deal, but 2 possible enhancements for the WebinOne Portal regarding new Trial Sites: It would be nice to have a set of defaults we could set for our Partner Portal for creating new sites. Ie: set default; Root domain, Data Center, Country and Timezone. So we don’t have to search through country and timezone mostly… but would...

Portal Support Enhancement

Here are a few suggestions to improve the support page’s usability. Improve Navigation: Add standard pagination 10,20,50 to the view. Currently, the fixed 50-item limit. Declutter History: Add an Archive or Delete function. Many old cases are no longer relevant; an auto-delete for cases older than 18 months would also be helpful. Prioritize View: Split the dashboard to show Active...

Percentage based pricing: So that the product attribute...

When configuring a registration form for a Member area subscription (non-recurring), we can set the expiry date using either the “Member area Expiry Date” or “Member area Expiry Duration” fields in the form. Show Selected Tag In WYSIWYG Editor

One of the banes of using the WYSIWYG editor is not knowing what style ie. Paragraph, H1, H2 etc has been set on a selected element in the editor without dropping in to HTML code to check. It would make the editor so much easier to use, most especially clients, if this was available just as the TinyMice editor does...

System Pages Default Template Change

Currently, System pages default template to _cms_default_blank_template. Recommended change: Change default template to Use Default Template and then just make the _cms_default_blank_template default on new trial sites. This way when adjusting all the system pages… its a matter of setting the default template to whatever we want… rather than having to go through each one and changing it over....

Tags And Categories To Sort By Admin Order

We have the ability to order the position of Tags and Categories in the admin UI, and this makes sense in many cases for the client and for usability. However, the output of Tags and Categories on the front end does not honour this ordering and has no order/weight value in the Liquid data to be able to use ‘sortBy’...

to work on confirmation page and in email autoresponder

isn’t rendering any data on the form confirmation page or in the form autoresponder layout (only works in Workflow Notification email layout). I thought this was working originally but it’s not now. Zapier enhancements; Create/Update Member Area Subscription

Currently, there is only one way to subscribe a contact to a Member area and that’s via a form submission on the front-end of the WebinOne site.
